The final 4 weeks!

The last year on Oahu has been a wild ride for the members of All The Apparatus. We have grown with alarming rapidity and been warmly welcomed in our beloved Chinatown. On December 21 of this year the last two members of our band boards a plane for our new home of Portland Oregon. Yes, it's true! We are moving!

The momentum we have built up over the last few months has become so strong that it is picking us up by our britches and dropping us in the Pacific Northwest ("Home" for several of our band members). We assure you we will continue to work as hard as we have here to bring fun and entertaining music into the world, we hope you visit here often and watch us grow!

We would like to offer our most sincere thanks to all of the fine folks who have helped us get to where we are today. We will never forget our friends at the Mercury Bar, the INTO Gallery, KTUH, The Cherry Blossom Cabaret, Mary, Marc, Tim, Josh86 and everyone else who ever tossed a dollar into the hat.

Come see us this next First Friday (Dec. 4th) next to the INTO gallery in Chinatown, it will be our last street performance on Oahu and we promise it will be memorable.

All our love
-ATA

Introducing the Steampipe 5000

So, for those of you lucky enough to make it out to the Mercury Bar on Friday, you may have noticed the latest addition to the band's collection of unique and awesome instruments.

Kuta, over the past week, designed and built this impressive, little piece out of PVC pipe. (See image above) With help from band members it was ready just in time for its debut.

Some of the unique features of the instrument are the name and paint job are inspired by the steampunk genre, it can completely break down, the pipes are interchangeable (so we can change out the notes) and it is currently played with slippahs.

You can see it at our upcoming gigs and, if you ask nicely, Kuta might even let you try it out.
